Hangzóliget

Sziget Festival's renewed art venue, ArtGarden, debuted in 2024, curated by Medence DesignLab. It offered visitors daily experiences and active recreation with representatives from various artistic disciplines.
Familiar favorites and new programs awaited attendees, including the popular Re+concept creative recycling bag-making workshop, instrument building with the Kecskemét Leskowsky Instrument Collection, the giant Grooverider Ferris wheel, and the interactive acoustic installation Hangzóliget (Sound Grove).

Participants from the Bartók Quarter presented nearly ten programs, including origami making, textile printing, planting, and collaborative dream city planning. Within ArtGarden, the Varázserdő (Magic Forest) installation and the SZIGET 30 FLASHBACKS photo exhibition awaited visitors, showcasing the most memorable moments from Sziget's 30-year history.

Colorful lanterns from the Neolux group and the Életfa (Tree of Life) installation enhanced the evening atmosphere. Medence Csoport also created a new bamboo hammock relaxation area, destined to become one of Sziget's most popular chill spots.
