Since 2004, we have been continuously creating sound objects with new functions from found parts.
We started experimenting with sound-producing objects during our university years. The initial goal was to understand material properties. The experiments and workshops provided shared experiences and inspiration for creating the objects.
We made "Soundburgers" with vibrating reeds from compressor bottles, whose long-lasting vibrations can be felt even in the very low ranges. The sound of the glass organ is caused by the friction of two materials of the same kind. The "Bike Drum" made from bicycle wheels lies dormant somewhere in everyone's imagination, in the wonders experienced as a child. Made from bicycle wheels Bikedrum is lurking somewhere in everyone's imagination, in the glimpses they had as a child.
Our ideas met with István Rimóczi and the Bélaműhely in 2009, and we started designing objects and performances together.
